CAROLINA, Rhode Island — March 25th — In order to enhance response capabilities in isolated regions, members of the Richmond-Carolina Fire District, located at 208 Richmond Townhouse Rd., Carolina, RI, United States, 02812, recently finished an all-terrain vehicle safety and familiarization training program. Deputy Chief Seth Barber and a number of senior officers led the training.

Firefighters practiced operating ATVs in situations akin to uneven terrain and woodland trails while reviewing safety protocols, equipment usage, and proper ATV operation. Fire departments frequently employ ATVs to access regions that are difficult for normal equipment to reach, such as trails, brush fire incidents, and remote medical emergencies. Regular training, according to officials, ensures that members can operate the equipment safely and remain prepared for situations requiring fast access to challenging terrain.
