Shaker Pines, NY — March 3rd — Members of the Shaker Pines Fire Department held an unannounced training scenario during an A Shift staff meeting on March 3rd. During the meeting, B Shift firemen silently entered the building and performed a fake rescue scenario.
The A Shift team moved rapidly from the discussion to reaction mode, conducting a search of the building and locating colleagues who were acting as firemen in distress. As part of the training, the crews carried out a fake rescue.
