Hartford Fire Department Reports 48 Calls for Service in March

The Hartford Fire Department in Hartford, Michigan, recorded 48 occurrences in March 2026, including responses in the city, township, and neighboring areas.


Of the total calls, 27 happened in the city, 11 in the township, and ten in other response regions.


EMS-related incidents accounted for the majority of replies, with 25 calls, accounting for slightly more than half of all department activity. There were six motor vehicle mishaps this month, while firemen responded to four fire-related calls. Crews also responded to seven service calls, one hazardous materials incident, and five calls that were canceled while units were on their way. There were no alarm activation calls logged throughout the reporting period. Looking at previous March call totals, the department handled 55 calls in March 2023, 73 calls in March 2024, and 60 calls in March 2025, indicating a slightly lower call volume this year.
