Ryegate, VT - Members of the Ryegate Municipal Fire Department recently participated in Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) training, focusing on strengthening the critical skills required to locate and rescue downed firefighters during emergency situations.

This type of training plays a vital role in ensuring that responders remain prepared not only to serve and protect the community, but also to safeguard one another and mutual aid partners during incidents. The department continues to emphasize readiness, teamwork, and safety through ongoing professional development.

The department expressed appreciation to Levi and Josh for conducting the training and for sharing their expertise and knowledge with all participating members.
