Tiverton Lions Club Honors Little Compton Firefighter Tyler Lopes

Little Compton, RI — March 10th — The Tiverton Lions Club named Little Compton Fire Department firefighter Tyler Lopes Firefighter of the Year. Lopes' commitment to the department and his work as a firefighter and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician–Cardiac (AEMT-C) are highlighted by the award. Lopes is renowned in the department for upholding great operational abilities and assisting with emergency medical responses as well as fire suppression. Advanced prehospital treatment, such as heart monitoring and drug delivery during medical emergencies, is taught to AEMT-C clinicians.
