February 20, 2026 — Members of the Wilton Fire Department participated in a hands-on vehicle extrication training drill designed to enhance rescue skills and operational readiness. Utilizing realistic props provided by KJ Sterns’ Towing & Recovery, firefighters worked in teams to simulate rescue scenarios involving overturned vehicles in challenging conditions.
Crews practiced stabilization, tool deployment, and patient access techniques while operating in tight spaces and navigating debris.
The drill emphasized coordination, safety, and efficiency, ensuring members remain prepared to respond to real-world incidents involving vehicle entrapment.
