Falmouth Firefighter Michael Mueller Retires After Nearly Two Decades of Service

March 16, 2026 — Firefighter Michael Mueller officially retired from the Falmouth Fire Rescue Department effective March 15, 2026, concluding nearly 20 years of dedicated service to the community. Mueller began his career in June 2005 as a civilian dispatcher before transitioning to a Firefighter/Paramedic role in April 2007. Throughout his tenure, he earned recognition for his commitment to public safety as well as his leadership within the department, including serving in multiple union roles and as Union President. Colleagues and department officials credited Mueller’s professionalism, dedication, and contributions as having a lasting impact on both the organization and the residents it serves. His retirement marks the close of a distinguished career in emergency services, with well wishes extended as he begins his next chapter.
