Mutual Aid Assignment Sends Wenham E3 to Hamilton

HAMILTON, MA — April 25th — As part of a mutual assistance assignment for a reported building fire, members of Engine 3 from the Wenham Fire Department arrived in Hamilton. When significant smoke conditions were detected at the scene, Wenham firemen helped personnel with support assignments, water supply operations, and suppression efforts. In order to help confine the fire and keep operational coverage throughout the response, mutual aid departments from nearby North Shore villages collaborated.
In order to support emergency situations and improve interagency collaboration throughout the region, the Wenham Fire Department, located at 140 Main Street, frequently takes part in regional mutual aid operations with nearby agencies. There were no reports of Wenham employees being hurt during the incident.
