On Sunday, March 15th, the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department carried out its annual ice water rescue training and refresher exercise at Crystal Beach. Community members may have noticed crews actively training on-site throughout the day. The department was joined by neighboring agencies, including Benson, Hubbardton, and Hampton, NY, in a collaborative effort to strengthen emergency response skills and coordination.
