As part of their continued skill development, members of the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department provided vehicle extrication training on March 28th.
Firefighters used the occasion to practice extrication techniques needed in major car crashes. The hands-on simulation allowed participants to examine equipment operations and reinforce protocols for securely removing individuals from damaged vehicles.
