Cub Scout Pack 103 on March 9 went to the Central Firehouse for an evening event with the City of Kingston Fire Department. During the tour, firefighters taught the scouts about fundamental fire department procedures and emergency response equipment.
Members of the department gave a tour of the firehouse and exhibited several pieces of equipment utilized during emergencies. Scouts also learned about the importance of ambulances and how firemen assist EMS during emergencies.
