WALDEN, NY - At 1048 hours the Walden Fire Department was alerted for a porch fire on Riverview Street in the Village of Walden. Upon arrival Walden personnel found heavy fire in the 3 story, wood frame, what appeared to be a multiple dwelling. At 1152 hours Washingtonville F.D. was alerted for a request for Ladder 579 to relocate to Walden F.D. Headquarters.
