KINGSTON, NY — March 6th — The Kingston Fire Department's annual bailout training focused on skills for safely exiting a structure if internal conditions rapidly worsened. The training covered window bailout operations with personal escape systems. Firefighters practiced techniques that allow crews operating on upper floors to exit quickly when stairs or other normal exits are no longer available.
