HORICON, NY — March 25th — The Horicon Fire Department Inc. provided refresher training on rescuing a downed fireman. The practice addressed mayday procedures, including as identifying, packing, and removing a firefighter who becomes trapped or immobilized during an incident. Firefighters used coordinated rescue techniques to improve speed, communication, and coordination during high-risk operations.
