Lester Smith, a Life Member, Past Commissioner, and Past Chief of the Florence Township Fire Department. Chief Smith was widely recognized for his decades of dedicated service to the Florence Township community and his lasting impact on the fire service. In addition to his leadership roles, he was a longtime friend and supporter of Mission Fire Company, strengthening the bond between neighboring departments. Fire officials described Chief Smith as a committed public servant whose contributions and influence will not be forgotten.
