March 27, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue provided automatic aid to Milledgeville Fire Department during a working structure fire, deploying multiple units to support suppression operations. Responding apparatus included Engine 17, Tanker 19, Battalion 1, Squad 17, along with Chief 1, Chief 2, and Chief 3. Upon arrival, crews encountered an active fire within a residential structure and quickly worked to assist with fire attack and containment efforts alongside Milledgeville personnel. Firefighters operated in challenging, smoke-filled conditions to bring the incident under control and prevent further damage. The coordinated response highlights the importance of mutual and automatic aid agreements in ensuring adequate resources and rapid response during significant incidents.
