February 25, 2026 — Members of the Lake Mishnock Fire/Rescue remained actively engaged over a demanding 36-hour operational period, responding to numerous calls for service throughout the community. Crews handled a wide range of incidents, including emergency medical calls, alarms, and other service responses, maintaining readiness day and night. While emergency calls eventually conclude, the work continues behind the scenes, with firefighters and EMS personnel focusing on equipment checks, apparatus readiness, station duties, and recovery following extended operations. Department officials emphasized their pride in the dedication and resilience of their members, who continue to serve without pause to ensure public safety. They also expressed appreciation to residents for their ongoing support and patience during high call volumes, noting that such encouragement plays a vital role in sustaining responders during demanding periods.
