March 8, 2026 — Members of the Bristol Fire Department participating in the current Firefighter I training program conducted hands-on forcible entry training, focusing on critical skills used during emergency response operations. The training session provided firefighters with the opportunity to practice techniques for gaining access to secured structures using specialized equipment, emphasizing safety, coordination, and efficiency. Under controlled conditions, participants worked through realistic scenarios designed to simulate emergency situations, reinforcing both individual proficiency and team-based operations. The department continues to prioritize training and preparedness to ensure members are equipped to handle a wide range of incidents within the community.
