This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Thomaston, ME - With temperatures reaching 50 degrees in March, members of the Thomaston Fire and EMS seized the opportunity to train outdoors. The mild weather allowed them to stretch lines, inspect equipment, and hone the skills essential for emergency response. Even in early spring, the department emphasizes that training never stops, making the most of every chance to prepare for when the tones drop.
