March 4, 2026 — Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company recognized Bethel Park High School students Bryan McGuire and Dominic Ollio for their outstanding achievement at the state DECA competition, where they earned first place in the “Business Solutions” category. Since October, the students have worked closely with the department as part of their DECA project, assisting with social media outreach, fundraising initiatives, and recruitment efforts to support the volunteer fire company. Their project competed against 22 other teams and demonstrated innovative solutions that contributed to the department’s community engagement and operational goals. With their state-level victory, McGuire and Ollio will advance to the international DECA competition in Atlanta this April, where they will represent their school and community on a global stage. Department officials praised their dedication and extended best wishes as they prepare for the next level of competition.
