Mumford, NY — March 17th — Along with the Caledonia Fire Department and the Clifton Fire Department, the Mumford Fire District, headquartered at 1013 Main St., just finished their yearly ground ladder testing. An impartial company examined and tested every department's ground ladders to make sure they are still safe to use in an emergency. Every year, fire departments test ladders to make sure the equipment can withstand the strains that occur during incidents.


Ground ladders are frequently utilized for roof work, rescue operations, and building access. Annual inspections guarantee that firefighters can depend on their equipment when responding to crises and assist detect wear or damage.
