Oneida Fire Department Marks Retirement of Deputy Chief Burbidge

Oneida, NY — February 27th — Deputy Chief Scott Burbidge retired from the Oneida City Fire Department, situated at 109 N Main St., following 20 years of service to the department and the Oneida community. Burbidge supported the department's everyday operations, emergency response, and fire suppression for twenty years. As a chief officer, he assisted in directing department operations while working with other firemen on a variety of situations during that period.


In addition to offering emergency services and fire protection throughout the community, the Oneida community Fire Department frequently collaborates with nearby organizations in Madison County through mutual help. According to department officials, Burbidge intends to
