As the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department celebrates its 100th anniversary, members take a look back at the station's history. The department presented an image of the first firehouse, completed in 1926, as well as the improvements made over the years that brought the facility to its current state in 2026.

Officials stated that each extension was completed because to the hard work and dedication of former and current firemen, the ladies auxiliary, fire commissioners, and Seabees from the nearby base. The department encouraged community members to share stories related to the station and its history as part of the centennial commemoration.
