On March 3rd, members of the Egypt Fire Department completed vehicle extrication training. Firefighters rehearsed stabilizing automobiles and using hydraulic equipment to distribute, cut, and roll a dashboard to allow patients access.
The training stressed safe and effective coordination while responding to motor vehicle accidents. This type of training helps firefighters maintain their expertise with rescue equipment and tactics utilized during automobile situations.
