Johnson, VT - The drill was a simulated emergency call designed to integrate three recently practiced skill areas into a single, cohesive scenario. The situation involved an individual who had fallen through ice on a remote beaver pond, with rescuers receiving GPS coordinates for the patient’s location. This exercise provided an opportunity to train simultaneously in ice water rescue techniques, UTV operation in deep snow conditions, and precise GPS navigation.
