Binghamton, NY — March 17th —The Binghamton Fire Department honored Firefighter Tim Keenan, who retired after nearly 25 years of service to the city.

Keenan joined the department on July 9, 2001, and was first assigned to Engine 4. In 2002, he relocated to the tower company, where he spent the most of his career, serving for 21 years before returning to Engine 4 in August 2023 to complete his fire service tenure.

Keenan, a member of Group D, was also involved with Binghamton Firefighters Local 729, where he served on the Benevolent Association and the union's Executive Board for 17 years.
