Oaks Corners Fire Police Attend Seneca County Training

Oaks Corners, NY — March 8th — The SCFPA held a four-hour training and refresher event for fire police officers from the Oaks Corners Fire Department. During the meeting, the department was represented by officers Mike Kohler, Kathy Kohler, and Bill Stobie. Roadway safety, traffic control protocols, and collaboration with fire and emergency medical services during emergencies were all included in the course.


By controlling traffic flow, safeguarding responders working on roads, and assisting in maintaining safe operating areas for emergency personnel and the general public, fire police officers play a crucial role at scenes. Fire officers can stay up to date on methods followed by agencies throughout the region and renew their abilities by enrolling in courses like this one. The Seneca County Fire Police Association was appreciated by the Oaks Corners Fire Department for inviting them and giving them the chance to take part.
