March 5, 2026 — The Bernville Community Fire Company is highlighting the dedication of its volunteer members after an exceptionally busy start to the month.

Within just the first four days, the department’s 100% volunteer crew responded to several significant emergencies that demonstrate the wide range of situations local firefighters and responders may face. During that short span, members assisted with the delivery of a baby, provided Quick Response Service (QRS) for a severe trauma incident, and extinguished a residential house fire.

Department officials noted that the recognition is not meant for self-promotion, but rather to illustrate the types of calls volunteers respond to while serving their community. Beyond emergency responses, members also dedicate countless hours behind the scenes managing the organization, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the department remains ready to respond when needed.

The Bernville Community Fire Company emphasized that the continued support of the community plays a vital role in sustaining the volunteer department and its ability to provide emergency services.
