March 4, 2025 — Baker County Fire Rescue announced that its Community Paramedicine team will participate in the upcoming “Building A Better Baker” Community Resource Fair scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Baker County Fairgrounds in Macclenny, Florida. The free event, hosted by Baker County Community Development, will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is designed to connect residents with valuable programs, services, and organizations available throughout the county. The fair will feature numerous community partners including county departments, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and health service providers. Attendees can expect a wide range of resources such as veteran services, insurance and healthcare information, library and summer programs, free or low-cost spay and neuter services, and opportunities to meet local contractors and service providers. Family-friendly activities will also be available, including food trucks, health screenings through a blood mobile, and a “Touch-A-Truck” area where children can explore emergency vehicles and equipment. Officials say the event aims to strengthen community connections while helping residents become more aware of the many resources available to support families and individuals across Baker County.
