February 27, 2026 — Gainesville Fire Rescue participated in a community outreach event held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clarence R. Kelly Community Center & Park located at 1701 NE 8th Avenue in Gainesville, Florida. The event brought together local public safety agencies and community organizations to connect with residents and provide valuable information and resources. Attendees enjoyed a variety of family-friendly activities including children’s games, educational materials, and free food while learning about safety initiatives and programs available within the community. Representatives from multiple agencies were present to speak with residents, answer questions, and promote collaboration between first responders and neighborhood members. The event also highlighted local outreach initiatives such as the Impact GNV program focused on community engagement and violence prevention.
