Putnam Fire Company Honors Members at Annual Dinner

Putnam, NY — February 25th: Members of the Putnam Volunteer Fire Company convened for their annual supper at the Knights of Columbus in Ticonderoga.


During the ceremony, Dave Hayes received the Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of his efforts to secure funds for the department. Officials stated that Hayes has committed significant time to grant applications, which have helped the company acquire significant funding over the years.


Chief Dan Tucker was also named Fire Officer of the Year, with the honor given by a department lieutenant and his son Gavin. Members praised Tucker's leadership and dedication to keeping the department structured and operational.


The department also praised Dylan Bush for his help during the event and expressed gratitude to Paradox Crafts for providing department hats, cups, and polos.
