Rindge Fire Department Reports 73 Emergency Calls in February

March 7, 2026 — The Rindge Fire Department reported that its firefighters and emergency personnel responded to a total of 73 calls for service during the month of February. The majority of responses were medical emergencies, which accounted for 44 calls. Fire-related incidents, including fire alarms and similar responses, made up 14 calls during the month. Additional responses included four service-related incidents such as water problems and good-intent calls, four mutual aid responses assisting neighboring communities, and three calls assisting other agencies. Firefighters also responded to two motor vehicle accidents and two hazardous materials incidents. Department officials noted that the call volume reflects the wide range of emergencies handled by members each month, highlighting the continued dedication of the department’s firefighters and EMS personnel in serving and protecting the Rindge community and surrounding areas.
