March 12, 2026 — The Dunn's Corners Fire Department responded to assist with a reported structure fire in the Watch Hill Fire District after Tower 5 was requested by incident command during a one-alarm fire. Upon arrival, Tower 5 crews were immediately assigned operational duties and worked alongside neighboring departments at the scene for just over two hours before returning to service. Later that afternoon, additional Dunn’s Corners units including Tower 5, Tanker 1, and Engine 6 were dispatched to the Charlestown Fire District for a reported house fire. However, those units were canceled while en route after command determined they were no longer needed. Officials noted that mutual aid responses remain an important part of regional fire protection, allowing departments to quickly provide additional resources and personnel when significant incidents occur.
