The event is being organized as the town prepares for upcoming voting and aims to provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about fire department operations, including staffing, budget planning, capital improvement projects (CIP), apparatus, and station facilities. Community members are encouraged to stop by for coffee, meet their firefighters, tour the station, and participate in open discussion with department leadership. Officials noted that both on-call and full-time firefighters share the same mission—protecting life and conserving property—and the event offers residents a chance to see firsthand how that mission guides the department’s work.
