Brockport Fire District Reports 85 Calls in February

The Brockport Fire District reported 85 requests for assistance in February, bringing the year-to-date total to 203 incidents.


According to department records, the top responses were 17 fire alarms, 14 public service assistance, 13 emergency medical calls, and 13 motor vehicle accidents. Throughout the month, crews responded to hazardous circumstances, brush or electrical fires, mutual aid calls, and building fires.


Notable events included a house fire on Fair Street on February 2nd, a dump truck fire on Eisenhour Drive on February 9th, and a car accident between West Ridge and Lake Road on February 21st.


According to department officials, the Brockport Fire District is still entirely volunteer-run, relying on dedicated individuals to respond to crises and protect the neighborhood.
