Remembering Gerald "Jerry" Vautrin - Stony Point Ambulance Corps

Gerald “Jerry” Vautrin passed away peacefully after a courageous two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, those closest to Jerry take comfort in knowing that he is finally free from the suffering he endured with such strength and dignity.


A man dedicated to helping others, Jerry devoted much of his life to service. He worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he cared for patients with compassion and professionalism. His commitment to serving his community also included time spent in the Army National Guard and volunteering with the Stony Point Ambulance Corps. Whether in uniform, in the hospital, or simply among friends, Jerry was always ready to lend a hand to someone in need.


Jerry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Debra Vautrin, and his son, Brian Vautrin. He leaves behind a family and circle of friends who meant the world to him, including his devoted daughter, Christina Vautrin-Clifford (Tim Mullins); his loving life partner, Carole Brown; and his honorary son, Christopher “Monk” Bulson.

Jerry’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he helped, the friendships he built, and the love he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
