LONG LAKE, NY — March 9th — Charlie, Griffin, and Camryn were honored by the Long Lake Fire Department for their recent achievements. The members' ongoing involvement in training, exercises, and departmental initiatives supporting emergency response in the Long Lake neighborhood was acknowledged by officials. Members who dedicate time to routine training and operational preparation are essential to volunteer fire units throughout the Adirondack region.

These initiatives assist departments in maintaining the personnel and expertise levels required to handle emergencies in remote areas, such as fires and rescues. In order to support volunteers and promote ongoing commitment in the fire service, department commanders stated that acknowledging member accomplishments is crucial. The acknowledgement also emphasizes how younger and more recent members contribute to the improvement of departments around Hamilton County.
