Greenfield Crews Train on Drone Technology

On February 16, the Greenfield Fire District UAS Team trained on their unmanned aircraft systems platforms. Members studied department policy, discussed best practices, and completed flight operations to ensure equipment proficiency.


Officials stated that drones give vital assistance during emergency situations, such as scene assessment, search operations, and situational awareness. Regular training ensures that operators are always prepared to deploy technology safely and effectively in support of firefighting and community safety.
