EMS Division Conducts Cardiology Training and Standby

— February 18th — Members of the Kendall Fire Department were active throughout the evening, providing training, community coverage, and operational readiness throughout the district.


The EMS Division began the night with hands-on cardiology and resuscitation training, which reinforced medical emergency procedures. Following the session, firemen and EMS personnel proceeded to Hamlin for the classroom phase of ice water rescue training, where they reviewed rescue tactics and became acquainted with equipment utilized in surrounding districts. The agencies will return later this week for the hands-on water section of the training.


At the same time, EMS professionals provided medical standby coverage at the High School Alumni Basketball Game to assure the safety of all participants and spectators.
