The Camp Hill Fire Department hosted representatives from UGI in February for a comprehensive safety training session focused on the safe handling of natural gas and emergency response procedures. The training provided firefighters with updated information on identifying gas-related hazards, understanding utility infrastructure, and coordinating effectively with gas company personnel during incidents. Through classroom instruction and discussion, members reviewed best practices for mitigating risks associated with natural gas leaks and emergencies, reinforcing their commitment to protecting residents and property. Department officials expressed appreciation to UGI for partnering with local first responders to enhance preparedness and ensure the highest level of safety for the community.
