The Barkhamstead East Volunteer Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500 outfitted by Firematic with a Brush Rapid Attack Truck (B.R.A.T.) body to be utilized as Engine 3. The truck contains a 250-gallon-per-minute pump and a Propoly 300-gallon tank with a 10-gallon foam cell. It was publicly shown by Firematic at the 2023 Long Island Metro Fire/EMS Expo at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum from February 3rd through the 5th. This truck will be replacing a 1986 GMC/Darley 750gpm/500gal.
