On january 9th at 12:05 pm the Emmaus, Western Salisbury, Vera Cruz and Lower Macungie fire departments and Emmaus EMS were dispatched for a structure fire at the Emmaus public works building on Klines Lane In the Borough of Emmaus. Chief 7 arrived on scene and had a boiler fire in the basement and had smoke showing from the bilco doors on side alpha. Engine 7 arrived on the scene and its crew srectched a handline to the basement and confirmed a fire in the boiler with extension.
