Timothy S. Hill, President of the Governor Wolcott Branch of the Connecticut Sons of the American Revolution, gave East Litchfield Vol. Firefighter Michael J. Brunetto, Jr. the Fire Safety Commendation Award on January 12th. Since 1998, Brunetto has worked as a fireman, lieutenant, junior program coordinator, and trustee for the East Litchfield Fire Co. He has volunteered with the Litchfield Vol. Ambulance and the Bantam Fire Co. in addition to serving in East Litchfield.
