A TRIP BACK TO CAMDEN COUNTY

This month we return to Camden County to feature more apparatus. There is still more Camden apparatus to come in a future column. We start with Bellmawr’s new Pierce Quint 3 and Squad 3. These were not yet delivered when the previous trip was made. The older Pierce quint was traded in. We also photographed a Horton ambulance at their quarters. Next, we continue to show Mt. Ephraim units that were not in the last column. They are Engine 45-1 which formerly served in Westville and Squad 4 which was refurbished by Fireline in 2021. Collingswood’s Spartan ER Metro Star S-180 pumper is next. It has a 10-inch raised roof cab, Hale DSD 1500-gpm pump with front bumper intake and hoseline, three 1 3/4 -inch crosslays, and Elkhart Stinger monitor. It also has ROM roll-up compartment doors and Whelen telescoping floodlights. We will add that their Seagrave rear-mount aerial is now in service in the City of Camden, but at the time we visited Camden City it was not lettered. Collingswood has no aerial at this time. The last one featured this month is from Somerdale, and is a 2022 Ferrara Cinder pumper. There will also be more from Somerdale later.
