AMBULANCE IS LOCATED IN COSHOCTON, OH

A 2004 Ford F-450, 2-wheel drive, McCoy-Miller Type 1 Ambulance. The patient compartment measures approximately 147 inches long by 94 inches wide on the outside, with 72 inches of height between the floor and ceiling inside. We purchased the truck in September 2014 from Jackson Co. Georgia with 136,481 miles on the chassis. After purchasing the truck, we refurbished it prior to placing it in-service. We replaced the 6.0 L engine, made some repairs and upgrades in the patient area, repainted the entire truck. The new motor has approximately 35,000 miles on it. This truck starts and runs, tires are good, the air suspension works, and the air conditioning blows cold. The truck was removed from service in December 2018 after it seemed to lose power while driving. We have not had good luck finding a mechanic who can diagnose and fix the Ford 6.0 or 6.4 liter engines, it seems like we just add new parts until the problem goes away. We decided that we could not afford to invest any more money in this 6.0 liter Ford at that time. The truck currently has 171,089 miles on it, within the last 8000 miles of use, we have replaced the power steering pump, radiator, tensioner pulley, both batteries, the EGR valve, fuel pump, injectors 1-3-5-7, both alternators, all 4 shocks, the FICM, and the hydro boost. Our fear was that the mechanic would just want to add more new parts. We have driven the truck several times since December, primarily shuffling it between stations to keep it inside and we have not been able to duplicate the loss of power. Once we received our newest truck this Summer, we decided it was time to sell this one. If you have a good 6.0 liter Ford mechanic, this truck has a lot of life left in it. I would strongly encourage anyone interested to come and look at the vehicle. The truck was maintained every 3,000 miles, we can provide a service history for the 5 years we have owned it. The lettering on the outside of the box has been removed, however impressions remain. There are some dents, dings and scratches that would be expected on a 15 year old vehicle. The siren and emergency lighting works, but should be removed unless sold to another emergency agency. It does have a power inverter that will stay with the truck. All Items Sold "As is, Where is.
