Firefighter/Paramedic Brenna Kulikowski and Firefighter/EMT Damon Thompson were in an ambulance returning to their station after leaving a hospital from an interfacility transport. While on State Route 260, another vehicle traveling in the other direction collided head-on with the ambulance. Firefighter/Paramedic Kulikowski and Firefighter/EMT Thompson were both pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle also passed away from injuries sustained in the collision. Investigation into the incident continues.
