Delaware Township, N.J. — December 16 — A reported structure fire in the Rosemont area of Delaware Township prompted the Lambertville-based West Amwell Fire Company STA26 to react on mutual assistance. Chief 26, Battalion Siwy, and Quint 26, led by Capt. Fozman and including a crew of four, were among the units who responded. At a working basement fire, Delaware Township Fire District #1 Station 47 requested assistance from Station 26.

When they arrived, West Amwell staff members joined the existing incident command structure and worked with other responding departments to support fireground operations. Until their job was finished, crews assisted with scene operations and suppression efforts. Station 26 units were released and put back into duty after working on the site. The reaction demonstrated the ongoing collaboration between local fire departments in the event of a residential fire.
