Mutual Aid Assists at Route 12 Commercial Building Fire

Kingwood Township, New Jersey — 3rd December — Due to a reported commercial building fire, the Department Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, P.O. Box 99, Baptistown, NJ, United States, New Jersey, was sent to the vicinity of 1070 Route 12. When Fire Marshal 21-2 came first, he verified that the fire was operational. Soon after, Chief 16 showed up and took over.
With a team of six, Quint 16 arrived and extended a handline into the building from Route 12. Operations were coordinated with mutual assistance organizations, and Engine 91 deployed an extra handline. At 19:32, the fire was contained. Rescue Engine 92 helped with overhaul and ventilation. Operations were aided by additional engines, tenders, and rescue units. In order to finish overhauling, ventilation, and lighting for the fire investigation, crews stayed on the scene for around three hours.
