Squad 662, Command 660 Answer Mutual Aid Request

Roseland, New Jersey — December 21 — The Roseland Volunteer Fire Department, located at 300 Eagle Rock Ave., Roseland, New Jersey, sent Squad 662 and Command 660 to Livingston on mutual assistance in response to a reported structure fire. As personnel worked at a home fire with active suppression occurring, units were asked to support the Livingston Fire Department.


Together with Livingston companies and other mutual aid partners, Roseland personnel supported fireground operations after reporting to the scene and integrating into the existing incident command structure. To maintain operational continuity and scene safety, assignments were completed in tandem with command. After response agencies continued to operate, the issue was brought under control. After finishing their tasks, Roseland units were discharged from the site and put back into duty, highlighting the ongoing significance of regional mutual aid cooperation.
