Units from the Frazer Volunteer Fire Department #2 were called to a domestic gas odor at 247 Oak Street in Springdale Borough on December 24 at 7:43 a.m. The event happened close to the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Mellon Alley. Engine 273, Engine 134, and Tanker 160 were among the responding equipment. In order to determine the source of the reported odor and guarantee the safety of the residents and surrounding homes, crews came on the spot and carried out an investigation.
